Bev C Cafe (Part 2)

After craving for ages for their coffee and pies, I’m once again back at Bev C cafe! Still remember sitting by the window with my bestie, each having a cup of flavoured tea and pies.

Now I’m here to try out their coffee!

Rose Latte

This latte was really promising!

With the tinge of rose flavour in it, the taste of caffe latte was made even better than before.

 

Spicy Sunfruit Pie

An interesting name means you have to give it a go!

As the name suggest, this pie is indeed sprinkled with “curry powder” on it to give it the spicy taste. The pie was even filled with chocolate pieces near its charcoal-baked base! Sweet treat~

It’s lunch time and you can’t seem to decide on what to have, especially when you feel like having something fuller than just coffee and cakes.

 At this cafe, you get to choose either a crispy fried or grilled chicken chop, and the sauce of either black pepper or mushroom! All are served with salad sides and fried potato wedges.

Other than the chicken chop, remember to order their famous fried rice too! Choose either original or spicy version of it.

Have always wanted to try out this container cafe found at Tan Hiok Nee street!  The cafe serves you your very own drink, where you get to choose your base, flavour, toppings and sweetness level!

Other than that, they have the Premiums which includes Thai Milk Tea, Vietnamese Coffee and Chai Latte.

Hungry too? But fret not because the cafe serves Food To Go which includes Brownies, Pies and Muffins!

Coffee Valley (part 2)

Back at Coffee Valley because I was craving for their waffles so badly.

Simply delicious!

Isit that I’m craving for matcha these days? YES.

Above is the MATCHA AZUKI waffle of coffee valley. Served with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and red beans, even the waffle itself is made of matcha base!

For those who love matcha, this will make you love it even more.

Something new

I was amazed at how this tasted so well, partly because I’m not really a soft boiled egg person, but this EGG SLUT is really worth a try!

Inside this small cup is a soft boiled egg, mashed potato, cheese, mushrooms and maybe more.

A perfect combo.

Kam Long Curry Fish Head

 

Located at Jalan Wong Ah Fook (which is just a few blocks away from City Square JB shopping mall), is the curry fish head that many have been dying for! Kam Long Curry Fish Head!

At the entrance

Right at the front of the shop, the chef cooks the curry fish head and serve it HOT for each and every one of his customers. The queue for the curry fish head “never ends” and can start from as early as 11am! It’s crazy but true.

Digging in!

The curry fish head is served with a variety of vegetables such as long bean and lady finger etc. Ordering a small sized one can be just enough for two to three pax!
